Diamond Head, this was taken after we'd climbed to the top and back. Can you see how red our faces were? It was August and very hot!! But we did it and it was awesome!!

Faith and Eric went horseback riding at Happy Trails. It was her first time to be on a horse alone and she did great!

at Giovanni's shrimp truck, see the truck behind them? The shrimp are fresh, farmed right there on the North Shore. They serve shrimp scampi, to us garlic shrimp. They are delicious and I think Eric's favorite dinner!
At our first luau (our first of many), this one at the Hale Koa with Eric and Faith. The emcee had a couple of hit records awhile back, maybe in the 80's? Glen Medeiros, remember him? Nothing's Gonna Change My Love for You. . . . . . . he grew up in Kuai and is now a husband, father, teacher and emcee at the Hale Koa luau.
