LOST

After doing a lot of nothing since Margeaux left, Saturday we were given tickets to see the LOST Symphony at the Waikiki Shell! We'd never been to the shell, Honolulu's outdoor theater. It was awesome! The composer, Michael Giacchino was there and conducted part of it, and Terry O'Quinn, who just won an Emmy for playing Locke, was also there, did some readings. Giacchino (who looked very young) also wrote the music for Ratatouille, MI3 and The Incredibles, to name a few. The music from LOST is amazing, it was a wonderful evening.
Tried to get some pictures, the bottom one is of Diamond Head, which as you can tell is very close to the shell. The weather was delightful, we are very grateful to the friends that gave us these tickets!

Aloha Margeaux!

Today was Margeaux's last day with us. We bought an orchid and had Japanese food for dinner. We have no pictures from today (shame, shame), but here are the pictures from yesterday. We will take Margeaux to the airport tomorrow morning. We have had a wonderful time and will miss her terribly but are very excited and happy for her move to England.
On the Manoa Falls Trail, very very humid hike, but a beautiful waterfall at the end.

Margeaux is being naughty, I had no idea she had the rabbit ears behind my head!
We saw this Chinese temple at another stop. I am taking the picture looking up, so it looks a little surreal.
