Emma Kathleen's Baby Shower

In February I flew to Dallas to attend Emma Kathleen's baby shower.  So grateful I could be there!
They gave everyone these bottles of champagne.  We are to save these and when little Emma Kathleen arrives, we will toast to her!

Sunrise

When we lived on the leeward side of the island, we saw lots of rainbows.  I don't see to many on the windward side, but look at the one I saw this morning.  Taken about 7:00 am, a double rainbow set against the pink sky.  I took a picture on the left and then on the right, I was in my nightgown and robe, so didn't want to walk down the street to try to get it in one shot.  These two pictures are of the western sky.  The last picture is the actual sunrise.

Our First Guest

Judy came to see us in January.  She was our first guest, this tour.  We had a wonderful, relaxed time.  We'd had a lot of rain before she came, but had beautiful weather for her visit.  Below is a picture of us at Shangri-la, the home of heiress Doris Duke.

At our favorite restaurant, Buzz's.  Judy and I did a little shopping and here are wearing our new blouses to dinner.
Her last day, we went to Buzz's for lunch.  After lunch we walked across the street to enjoy the beach.
One day while walking Sam, a lady offered me free bromeliads.  I had been wanting one of this type, and got 3, for free!  They took up the entire trunk and weren't easy to plant, but here they are in our backyard.  Judy was a great help in the yard!
