A Little Day Trip

Last weekend I was just dying to get away and see something, so we drove to the little town of Washington, established in 1790 and (the first town in the US named after George). Cute little town.

Then toured Calloway Plantation. This was a very interesting tour, most of the furnishings were original and had all the original buildings on site.

This was the family's first house, which on the inside was like Little House on the Prairie, with a small loft ~This was their second house, which was really pretty nice ~

The family's cotton businesss prospered & they built this house ~
Today there is an airport, right across the street!

A Week in Texas

One week in Texas! Mother, Judy, Elaine and I went to the Wildflower Center. Pretty flowers and a nice lunch.

Then to Eric's, here is Faith with her stuffed animals and one doll ~

I gave Faith her birthday present early - a watch just like mine ~

Saturday Robert, Chase, Eric, Faith and I went to the Children's Museum. We all had so much fun, it was fabulous. Here are just a few pictures ~

At the grocery store, Faith was a checker and Chase was a shopper.

Chase is a vet, giving the puppy an injection.
