Day 3 in Upcountry

Our cabin has one of those cute doors where the top and bottom are separate. I remember seeing movies as a kid and always thought that would be so cool to have a door like that. So I told Jon we just had to get a picture of me and the front door.
We went back to the Lavendar Farm today. Look at the leaves on this Protea. It looks like they were cut with scissors! We bought some protea flowers on the side of the road for so cheap and and will put a picture up tomorrow.
Enormous, beautiful protea ~
Next we went to the Kula Horticulture Garden. We took lots and lots of pictures of flowers. Here's one ~
The owner told us Oprah's house is here. So we drove up the one-lane road she told us to (paved, of course). Of course we couldn't see anything, but can certainly see why she chose to buy here. It's delightful. For dinner we had Mexican food at the same place we stopped at our first day. It's just like the Tex-Mex I grew up with, nothing fancy, just good. That makes Mexican 3 days in a row!!
